Owner agreement
Last updated 30 October 2026. This is the deal between you (the business that owns the store) and us, in plain words. When you start a store you tick a box to say you've read it.
The short version
- The store is free to open. We make and ship ten popular products with your logo.
- 20% of each sale goes to you. You don't carry any stock.
- Year one is free. After that there's a small monthly fee (amount to be announced), and we'll tell you well before it starts.
- Samples are charged at the retail price, like any order. You don't earn your share on your own orders, and there's no credit for samples.
- We calibrate where your logo sits on real garments. Until a product has been checked on one, its placement is an estimate, and we won't promise exact placement before then.
- Previews are flat garment pictures. You can show your own photos instead, and model photos can be added once we've approved them.
1. What you get
A store at merchpuppy.com/<your address> with ten popular products carrying your logo: tees, a pocket tee, a long sleeve, a hoodie, a crewneck, women's cuts, a trucker hat and a tumbler. You can switch products off and set your own prices. We take the orders, take the payment, have each item printed and shipped by Printful, and handle customer questions about orders.
2. Your share
You get 20% of each sale, worked out on the item price the customer pays, before shipping and taxes [for review: the exact base, and how discounts and refunds change it]. We record the rate on each sale when it's made, so a later change never reaches back. If an order is refunded, your share of it is taken back at the same rate. Payouts go out once a month by Interac e-transfer (or cheque if you ask), to the payout details you give us on your earnings page. Each sale is held 14 days in case of a refund, and anything under $25.00 rolls into the next month. If a customer disputes a charge with their bank (a chargeback), that order's share is held while the dispute is open; if the dispute is lost, your share of that sale comes back off your balance, the same as a refund, and we cover the bank's fee and the rest [for review: payout method and timing].
3. Fees
The first 12 months from the day you accept this agreement are free. After that, there's a small monthly fee. The amount is to be announced. We'll tell you at least 60 days before it starts, and you can close your store instead [for review: amount and notice period]. There's no setup fee.
4. Your logo and name
- You promise you own the logo and business name you upload, or you have written permission to use them on merchandise.
- You give us permission to print them on items sold in your store, to show them in the store, and to show your store as an example of merchpuppy (you can ask us not to).
- No sports leagues or teams, big brands, characters or anyone else's marks, and nothing explicit, hateful or illegal.
- If someone says your logo is theirs, we may take the store down while we sort it out. You'll cover any claim that comes from a logo you didn't have the right to use [for review: indemnity wording].
5. We review every store
A new store stays hidden until we've checked its name and logo, partly with an automated tool and partly by hand. If we can't approve it, we'll email you the reason. If you think we got it wrong, write to hello@aiconceptshq.com and we'll take another look. We check again if you change the logo or name later.
6. Samples, and getting the placement right
You order a sample yourself, at the store's retail price, and send us photos with a ruler in the shot. You can order it before your store is live. Your share isn't counted on your own orders, and there's no credit for samples [for review: whether to offer a sample credit later]. We use real printed garments to calibrate where your logo sits on each product. Until a product has been checked on a real garment, its placement is an estimate and the printed result can sit a little differently. We won't promise exact placement before that check is done.
7. Pictures on your store
Previews are flat garment pictures. You can show your own photos instead, and model photos can be added once we've approved them. You choose how products are shown: flat garment pictures (the default), your own photos, or model photos once we've approved them. If you choose flat or your own photos, we never show an AI-generated person anywhere on your store.
8. Takedowns, refunds and problems
- Every store has a "Report this store" link. We may hide or remove a store, or a product, if we think it breaks these terms or someone's rights.
- We deal with customer refunds, replacements and chargebacks for damaged, misprinted or wrong items. You don't have to, and we don't bill you for them beyond your share of the refunded sale.
- If a sale is refunded, your share of it comes off your balance at the rate the sale was made at.
9. Ending this
You can close your store at any time by emailing hello@aiconceptshq.com. We'll finish any orders already placed, and pay what you're owed. We can end this agreement if you break it, and we can end the service with 60 days' notice [for review].
10. Everything else
Our terms of use and privacy policy apply too. When we record that you accepted this agreement, we keep the version, the date and time, your email and your IP address, so we can show what you agreed to. Governing law: Ontario, Canada [for review].
